I visited Life Time without an appointment after touring Windy Hill Athletic Club because I wanted to compare both clubs on the same day. The difference was night and day, and my Life Time visit was the better experience, not just because of the facilities, but because of Josh the trainer. When I first arrived, the sales representative mentioned he did not have time to assist because he was the only one there, which I understood. However, the interaction did feel a little dismissive as Windyhill rep thats what she heard and warned me that would be the case. Thankfully, Josh, one of the trainers, came over and offered to give me a tour. He spent about 45 minutes walking me through the gym, amenities, and overall experience. I was impressed not only by the facility, but by the level of service. At this level, I believe the experience should feel Five Star, almost Ritz-Carlton quality. People come here to relieve stress, improve themselves, and feel taken care of. Josh turned what could have been a poor first impression into a great experience. If you are lucky enough to work with him, you will not be disappointed. Great energy, great service, and a great first impression. Highly

This club is spacious, well-equipped and has excellent amenities, including a cafΓ©, restaurant, indoor/outdoor pools, and beautiful lake views that make workouts more enjoyable; however, ongoing issues with the boiler make it unreliable to get a warm showers, the shower stalls are uncomfortably small, and the shared sauna and steam room setup feels impersonal and awkward, taking away from an otherwise high-end experience.

Pretty solid Alpha training section that usually has a slightly warmer ambient temperature which I appreciate. Free weights are plentiful and great. The cable stations have an acute shortage of handles and attachments though; It's like they were all stolen or something. Staff at the desk are superb. Parking is plentiful and in the concourse garages (some are pretty tight so leave your monster truck back home in Loganville, sugar). The biggest complaints in the gym are: 1) There's wayyyyy too many tripods and idiots filming absolutely mindnumbingly dumb mundane stuff. I seriously wonder who wants to see a bunch of guys use a Smith machine. More lifting and results, fewer tripods. 2) The steam room and sauna have large gaps in the doors. All the heat escapes easily and a lot of the members don't seem to understand basic air infiltration with regards to heat loss. I blame public schools for that one. The fact that all these amenities are coed doesn't bother me like it does many other members. There's so many other Life Time locations nearby if you MUST have a men's or women's only sauna!!!

Honestly one of the best gym experiences I've had. The facility at Life Time Perimeter is on another level β€” the equipment, the space, the overall vibe is just different from your average gym. Shoutout to Josh β€” easily one of the best trainers I've ever worked with. The attention to detail and the way he runs sessions is top tier. What really sets this location apart is that it's the only one offering one-on-one boxing and combat training. That alone makes it worth it. If you're serious about your fitness and want a space that actually matches that energy, this is the spot.

It’s the nicest and most expensive athletic β€˜county club’ in the area. I like that it’s not a traditional Life Time footprint but miss having separate locker room amenities. It feels like something is lost when saunas and stream areas are co-ed.
